# What is Akadia?

#### Akadia Survival is a unique and intense Minecraft gaming experience that offers players a whole new level of challenge and engagement. Unlike traditional Minecraft, Akadia Survival is packed with its own features and gameplay mechanics that take the concept of survival to the extreme. In this quick guide, we will explore the various aspects of Akadia Survival, from the basic premise to the gameplay, strategies, and more.

### Objective and Gameplay:

The primary goal in Akadia Survival is to be the last one standing among a group of players. Each round, participants are spawned at random locations within an expansive arena, where they must battle it out to survive. A single round can last up to several days, making it a test of both skill and endurance.

### Becoming Stronger:

There are numerous ways to improve your chances of survival in Akadia. Players can undertake quests and events, farm resources, trade with shops, and engage in PvP combat to acquire better gear and abilities. Each of these activities contributes to the overall strength of the player, making them a formidable opponent in the arena.

### No Logout Policy:

In Akadia Survival, there is no logout option. If a player logs out, a copy of their character remains in the game and can be killed by other players. If the offline character is killed, the player is permanently eliminated from the game, adding an extra layer of tension and urgency to the experience.

### The Arena:

Should a player die within the first five hours of the event, they are sent to the Arena. Here, they must fight against other defeated opponents for a chance at redemption. If successful, the player is granted a revive and allowed to rejoin the game with a renewed opportunity to compete for victory.

### Events and Encounters:

Akadia Survival offers a dynamic world with various events that can be triggered by players or occur randomly. These events can either reward or punish players, making the experience unpredictable and ever-changing. Players must stay on their toes and be prepared to adapt to the ever-shifting landscape.


# Register to play

With Akadia's unique concept, spots per round are limited. Learn how you can secure your place and don't miss out.

With a 50 player cap, securing your spot is simple and quick yet important. Follow these easy steps provided to register, which should take no more than three minutes!

1. Joint the [Discord server ](https://discord.gg/b6g4VdNk8b)
2. Join the Minecraft server. <mark style="color:orange;">**IP: play.akadia-survival.com**</mark>
3. You will be given a registration code
4. In Discord, go into the registration channel and enter the following command:

### Alternative ways of getting registered:

* End a round in the top 3 in the last event. If you do, you autmoatically get a spot in the next round.
* Get an invite from us to play.


# Player Commands

Use this command to open a support ticket on Discord. Make sure to replace 'reason' with a brief description of the problem you need assistance with.

# The Arena

## Understanding the Arena: Mechanics and Consequences in Akadia

One of the most crucial aspects to be aware of in Akadia, is the Arena, as it is closely linked to the consequences of dying in game.

The Arena is not available all the time; it only becomes accessible at the beginning of a Round, and will be disabled after some time. You will get an in game notification when this happens.

When you die in Akadia, you are sent to the Arena, where you must face another player who has also met their demise. This battle is not for glory but for a second chance; the winner of the duel earns a revive and returns to the game.

Please note that leaving a Arena match while it's ongoing will result in an immediate victory for your opponent. So, be cautious and ensure you have sufficient time to commit to the duel before entering the Arena. Also if you happen to leave while in the Arena queue, you will lose your spot immediately and are out of contension.

The victorious player will be teleported to a random location within the game world and given back their inventory, along with a small bonus. Although the prospect of a revive and extra loot is tempting, remember that it is far better to avoid death and the uncertainty of the Arena altogether. Stay vigilant, strategize, and keep pushing forward in the vast and exciting world of Akadia.

# Graphic Issues

Akadia's unique experience relies on our custom resource pack, but don't worry about manually downloading it. Simply join the server and accept the download prompt, and you're good to go!

## Custom Game Models & textures are missing

At present, Akadia supports three render engines:

* The Vanilla Minecraft render engine
* Optifine
* Iris \*

### \* Iris may not display certain custom textures and models accurately&#x20;

No need to worry though! We use Iris and Sodium as well, so you can still join in on the fun. To ensure your experience is optimal, please download the following mod:

Place the mod in your mod folder and you are good to go! Remember, you only have to do this if you use the Iris mod.

# Ask for Help

## Discord

Simply navigate to our Discord Server and proceed to the designated support channel. Once there, enter the following command:&#x20;

### /support 'reason'

For instance, you could enter: /support I am having trouble logging in One of our administrators or moderators will promptly attend to your concern and provide the necessary support.

## In-Game

For in-game assistance, the process is just as simple. All you need to do is type the following command into the chat:

### /support 'reason'

A ticket will automatically be created on the discord channel. There, one of our administrators or moderators will promptly attend to your concern and provide the necessary support.


# Reporting a player

To report a player, type /report in the chat box and press enter. This will bring up the report menu.

Once the report menu is open, you can select the player you want to report from the list of players in-game. you can also select the reason for the report from a list of preset options. These options include things like cheating, griefing, or inappropriate behavior.

Once you have chosen the player and provided a reason for the report, our system automatically alerts the administrators. They will promptly review the case and determine if any disciplinary measures are necessary.
